Mirror Neurons
These form a key aspect of empathy in us all. They are soft wired in us – so they can be present but then they can be diminished over time – and their power to affect us reduced, if we choose to ignore them – or their power can grow when we allow ourselves to register their power to affect us.
This page tells you more about Mirror Neurons, what they are – and also some practical advice in how we can stimulate the Mirror Neurons in our young people, to help prick those bubbles of self, self self that our young people can live in – and help give them the greater emotional understanding of the needs of others, and how their behaviours can negatively effect others.
